January 11 - Glow Games
We are joining the youth for this favourite annual event - wear something that glows and come play games under black lights! This is a great event to invite your friends to!
January 18 - Alive
Always includes group games and snacks, usually includes worship songs with the youth and small group discussion and hang out time.
January 25 - Game Show Night
Compete with your friends in Minute to Win It, Jeopardy and more!
February 1 - Alive
Always includes group games and snacks, usually includes worship songs with the youth and small group discussion and hang out time.
February 8 - Movie Night
Wear something comfy and bring a friend for a movie on our big screen - popcorn and drinks included! If you would like a candy bag, bring some change for the concession (proceeds go to the youth sponsor child, Mukire)
February 15 - Alive
Always includes group games and snacks, usually includes worship songs with the youth and small group discussion and hang out time.
February 22 - Art & Games Night
Choose between playing video and board games (use ours or bring your own) or making art projects at our arts and crafts stations.
March 1 - Photo Rally
Work in teams to complete a photo scavenger hunt! Bring a camera if you have one. Prizes for the winning team!
March 8 - Alive
Always includes group games and snacks, usually includes worship songs with the youth and small group discussion and hang out time.
March 15-16 - 30 Hour Famine
Watch for registration info in January for event for Grades 6-12. Participants fast for 30 hours and raise money for hungry kids - join us for this overnight event with lots of great games and activities.
Spring Break - NO Friday events on March 22 & 29
Here are the events we have planned for Spring Break:
Tuesday March 19 – DQ Run (1:00 - 2:30 pm)
Meet at the Dairy Queen in North Delta to enjoy some ice cream and hang out together! Bring your own money. Can’t find a ride? Contact Kelly and we will arrange some carpools. 8555 120th Street, North Delta.
Thursday March 21 – Games Night (7:00 - 9:00 pm)
Come hang out in the Youth Room! We will have lots of video games and board games available, or bring your own. We will also be running concession (chips, candy and pop) and proceeds go to our sponsor child. Enter through Gym doors.
Tuesday March 26 – Timmy’s Run (1:00 - 2:30 pm)
Meet at the Queensborough Tim Horton’s for some snacks and drinks and hang out together! Bring your own money. Can’t find a ride? Contact Kelly and we will arrange some carpools. 805 Boyd St., New Westminster.

January 11th - GLOW GAMES 2019
Let’s light up 2019 with a Glow-in-the-Dark party! Bring a friend and come to Youth wearing a white or neon shirt. The games will be lit! Ha ha.
January 18th - ALIVE!
Join us for games, singing with the Youth band, and planning for make a movie night. Concession will be open from 6:50-7:10. Proceeds go towards our Compassion Canada Child.
January 25th - Make A Movie Night
Work in teams to make a movie in 2 hours! We will announce the teams and the 2019 theme during the previous week’s event. Then, edit the movies so we can show them and hand out awards at our Oscar Night!
February 1st - ALIVE!
Come for fun, friends and faith-building! There will be games, singing with the Youth band, a
short message and small groups. Concession will be open from 6:50-7:10. Proceeds go towards our Compassion Canada Child.
February 8th - Fear Factor!
In groups you will face and overcome your biggest fears! Mwahahahaaaaaa!
February 15th - ALIVE!

February 22nd - Chapel Richmond
If you need a ride, meet at the church by 6:25 pm so we can leave by 6:30 pm.
Otherwise, meet at The Tapestry Church at 7:00 pm (9280 No 2 Rd, Richmond). This event ends at 9:00 pm, and we will be back at Bethany by 9:20-9:30 pm for parents to take
you home.
March 1st - Bethany Oscar Night!
Dress your best and bring a dessert. All movies made at Make A Movie Night will be shown as we enjoy a dessert potluck and hand out awards for Best Actor, Actress, Picture, etc.

March 15/16th - 30-Hour Famine
Overnighter! - (7:00 pm-10:00 am) This is a sleepover event for Grades 6-12—we raise money for those without food, and fast for 30 hours to understand what it feels like. This event includes group games, competitions, and activity stations—another event you don’t want to miss! Grab a registration package in January to start fundraising—each student must raise a minimum of $50 to attend, and those who have raised the most will get to throw a pie on one of the leaders’ faces!
